Roller Shades are some of the most beautiful and fashionable window treatments available in the market place today.  At Made in The Shade Blinds of Pittsburgh we have many different styles, pattern, product lines, and options to choose from.

In this blog we are going to focus on Horizon Window Fashions two product lines that offer Roller Shades: Shades of Elegance and Soft Treatments.

Horizons Shades of Elegance fabrics are all available as Roller Shades.  The Shades are not available with liners but they have many different opacity levels. There are blackout fabrics, FR rated fabrics, and solar fabrics that have openness factors from 1% all the way to 14%.

Horizons Soft Treatments fabrics are mainly intended for Roman Shades, Draperies and Side Panels, and Top Treatments.  But several of the fabrics in this collection are available in Soft Roller Shades. The Soft Roller Shade drapery fabric is fused to a quality black-out Shade for complete room darkening and privacy.

Whichever Shade you choose you have many options to consider. Choose between a Clutch Control for an added degree of control, or Spring Roller for a completely cordless Shade, or even our Easy-Stop Control option that allows you to simply pull the Shade and let go. The Shade will raise smoothly to a pre-determined height and stop by itself.

Classic Valances are available in the fabric chosen at a height of 6 inches. Cassettes and Fascia are available to enclose the Roller Shade.  Cassettes will have a matching fabric face and Fascia will have a color-coordinated flat metal face. Multiple Shades under one Fascia is possible also.

The Shades can be further decorated with Contempo Scallops in six different styles.  Fringe, Gimp Beads and Tassels as well as Grips and Decorative Pulls can personalize your Shade.
